The Truth About Irish Hip Hop is a documentary about the rise of hip hop in Ireland and the changing attitudes towards the once foreign art form. Ireland is renowned for it’s writers and poets so why can’t hip hop music enter the cultural mainstream? This documentary captures the recent explosion in Irish hip hop, showcasing the passionate new wave of rappers as well as some more established voices.
